述曰：遮一說部一切皆假，謂「如」為虛，同依他法，故說為實。又虛簡所執，幻簡依他，此真如體非實、非不實。若爾，何故名為真如？

The Commentary states: This refutes the Ekavyāvahārika school's assertion that everything is nominal, which regards 'thusness' as unreal, the same as dependent phenomena; therefore it is spoken of as real. Furthermore, 'unreal' excludes the imagined nature, and 'illusory' excludes the dependent nature; this substance of tathatā is neither real nor unreal. If so, why is it named 'tathatā' (True Thusness)?
