述曰：下申理、喻中，初申理；後申喻。此申理也。謂立假者，必依三法方可說假，一謂真事；二謂似事者，共法。

The Commentary states: In setting forth the principle and the example below, it first sets forth the principle and then the example. This is setting forth the principle. That is, establishing a metaphor must rely on three phenomena before a metaphor can be stated: first, the real entity; second, the resembling entity, which has the common property.
