述曰：下破相離，先牒計非：若彼宗言「猛」等雖非類德，而不相離故，可假說以人之類，必與火德猛赤等法不相離故。可說人為火，水中類離德，何得說為火者，此亦不然。

The Commentary states: Below refutes dissociation. It first cites their position and rejects it: If that school says that although 'ferocity' and the like are not qualities of genus, nevertheless, because they are not dissociated, a conventional designation may be made, because the genus of man is necessarily not dissociated from dharmas such as the fiery qualities of ferocity and redness; thus a man can be called 'fire', whereas the genus in water is dissociated from these qualities, so how could it be called 'fire'?—this too is incorrect.
