述曰：若外救言：無共假說亦有何失？今論主非，無共假說，有過同前，同前於水應名火等，以無共故。

The Commentary states: If the opponent defends: 'What flaw is there even in a conventional designation without something shared?' Now the author of the Treatise rejects it: A conventional designation without something shared has the same fault as before—identical to the previous case where water ought to be named 'fire' and so forth, because there is nothing shared.
