述曰：和合既假說，許是所緣識上有相，不許是緣，以假無體故。
The Commentary states: Since the combination is nominally posited, it is accepted to be the object (ālambana) because there is an aspect upon consciousness, but not accepted to be a condition (pratyaya), because being nominal, it lacks real entity.
