述曰：下顯正教說我、法因，依識所變見、相分法，為遣所執，隨情說假我、法言，故非真實有。

The Commentary states: Below is shown the reason why the correct teaching speaks of self and phenomena. In reliance on the phenomena of the seeing and image portions transformed by consciousness, in order to dispel what is clung to, nominal words of self and phenomena are spoken in accordance with sentiment; therefore they are not truly existent.
