述曰：於中有二：初別解三句；後別解能變義。三句不同即分為二，此解初句也。所變相者，釋頌此言，此見、相分相狀各各有無量故。所言唯者，是決定義，此見、相分所依自體能變之識，體類定三，非增減故，或簡別義，如前已說。

The Commentary states: Herein there are two parts: first, explaining individually the three lines; second, explaining individually the meaning of transformation. The difference between the three lines is thus divided into two, and this explains the first line. "The aspects transformed" explains these words in the verse, because the appearances of these nimittabhāgas and darśanabhāgas are each immeasurable. The word "only" conveys the sense of definitiveness: the self-substances of transforming consciousness upon which these nimittabhāgas and darśanabhāgas depend are definitely three in category and substance, being neither more nor fewer; alternatively, it has the sense of exclusion, as was already stated earlier.
