述曰：謂此識體變為見、相二分相狀，又亦為清淨種依，或為等流果等，或為同類因等。體上所有義相非一，故言「雖多」，以自證分但有三義，略說三相。

The Commentary states: This means that this consciousness's substance transforms into the aspects of the darśanabhāga and nimittabhāga; it also serves as the support for pure seeds, or as the natural outflow result and so on, or as the homogeneous cause and so on. The aspects of meaning possessed on its substance are not one, hence it says 'although they are multiple'; because the svasaṃvittibhāga has only three meanings, it states in summary only three characteristics.
