述曰：此安惠等難。問：生等與法非因果，不可例同於種子者，此與諸法既非一異；有因果故；應如瓶等，是假非實。瓶為假果體，色等為因故。

The Commentary states: This is an objection by Sthiramati and others. Question: If origination and the like are not cause and effect with dharmas and cannot be analogized to seeds, then since these [seeds] are neither one nor different from all dharmas and there are cause and effect, they should be like a vase and the like: nominal and not real. This is because the vase is the substance of a nominal effect, while form and so forth are the causes.
