述曰：第五十七、〈決擇分〉說，二十二根，一切皆有異熟種子，又說一切皆異熟生。此為二問：一、異熟種；二、異熟生。

The Commentary states: Fascicle 57, the 'Viniścaya-saṃgrahaṇī,' states that the twenty-two faculties all have retribution seeds, and also states that all are born of retribution. This constitutes two questions: first, retribution seeds; second, born of retribution.
