述曰：此諸種子雖名異熟，而非無記，何故爾也？體非異熟，由所依識是異熟故，名異熟種。若爾，此等體非無記，依無記故，應名無記。

The Commentary states: Although these seeds are named retribution, they are not indeterminate. Why is this so? Their substance is not retribution; because the supporting consciousness is retribution, they are named retribution seeds. If so, their substance is not indeterminate, but because they depend on the indeterminate, they should be named indeterminate.
