述曰：由此故知，有漏、無漏種皆本有。然新染淨熏發之中，有漏淨染熏於有漏本有種，增有漏淨及無漏，復發本有無漏種增也。又第三卷次前上文。

The Commentary states: From this, we know that both contaminated and uncontaminated seeds are innate. However, in newly perfuming and evoking defilement and purification, contaminated pure and defiled [dharmas] perfume the contaminated innate seeds, increasing the contaminated pure ones; and the uncontaminated further evokes the innate uncontaminated seeds, increasing them. This is also from the passage just before the text in the third fascicle.
