述曰：此第二，引經論通證，即是十卷《入楞伽》第二卷、《無上依經》上卷、《善勇猛般若》第一卷、《大般若經》第五百九十三卷。說前種姓，《大莊嚴論》第一卷末〈種姓品〉，及此《瑜伽》第二十一、聲聞地，皆說有五種姓別，故應定有法爾無漏種子，不由熏生。

The Commentary states: This second part cites sūtras and treatises as common proof; namely, the second fascicle of the ten-fascicle Laṅkāvatāra-sūtra, the first fascicle of the Anuttarāśraya-sūtra, the first fascicle of the Suvikrāntavikrāmi-paripṛcchā-prajñāpāramitā-sūtra, and the 593rd fascicle of the Mahāprajñāpāramitā-sūtra. Regarding the earlier discussion of spiritual lineages (gotra), the end of the first fascicle of the Mahāyānasūtrālaṃkāra in the 'Gotra Chapter', as well as the twenty-first fascicle of this Yogācārabhūmi in the Śrāvakabhūmi, all speak of five distinct lineages; therefore, there must definitely be innate uncontaminated seeds that do not arise from perfuming.
