述曰：此《地持》、《善戒經》、〈菩薩地〉並是。第一〈種姓品〉云：又從無始展轉傳來，法爾所得本性住姓，即是菩薩本性住姓。彼有六處言，取唯第六處，阿賴耶中有此種故。

The Commentary states: This is found in the Bodhisattvabhūmi-sūtra, the Upāsaka-śīla-sūtra, and the 'Bodhisattvabhūmi'. The first chapter, the 'Gotra Chapter', states: 'Furthermore, transmitted from beginningless time, obtained naturally, is the lineage abiding in its original nature (prakṛtistha-gotra)'; this is the bodhisattva's lineage abiding in its original nature. In that text there is mention of six āyatanas, but here it refers only to the sixth āyatana, because this seed is within the ālayavijñāna.
