述曰：新熏生故，自下第三、破斥，有二：先難本有；後破新熏。難本有中有二：初引經成理難；後結違諸教難。

The Commentary states: Because they are produced by new perfuming. Below is the third part, the refutation, which has two sections: first, challenging [the view of] original existence alone; second, refuting [the view of] new perfuming alone. In challenging original existence alone there are two parts: first, citing scriptures to establish the reasoning as a challenge; second, concluding that it contradicts various teachings as a challenge.
