述曰：或依他心體非煩惱，名性本淨，以煩惱客相應惑心擾，令斷客染心得解脫，如《瑜伽》五十四說。心所等亦爾。

The Commentary states: Or, the substance of dependent (paratantra) mind is not defilement, so it is called fundamentally pure by nature. Because adventitious defilements associated [with it] agitate the mind, when adventitious defilements are severed, the mind attains liberation, as explained in fascicle 54 of the Yogācārabhūmi. The same applies to mental factors and the like.
