述曰：五、一心緣遍難。相相違法許俱緣故，緣此之識應亦緣餘，應耳亦得緣於色等，比量應知。

The Commentary states: Fifth is the objection that a single mind would cognise everywhere. Because mutually contradictory marks are allowed to be cognised together, the consciousness cognising this should also cognise the rest, and the ear should also cognise visible forms, and so forth, as should be known through inference.
