述曰：除此餘法，七轉識等名為因緣，彼《對法》第四：十二緣起皆名因緣，應知假說，非實因緣，非辨體故；非親近故。

The Commentary states: Except for these, other phenomena, such as the seven evolving consciousnesses, being called causal conditions, as well as in the fourth fascicle of the Abhidharma-samuccaya-bhāṣya where the twelve links of dependent origination are all called causal conditions, should be known as metaphorical designations, not real causal conditions, because they do not determine the entity and because they are not immediate and proximate.
