述曰：自下第四別解五所。於中有二，初別解五體性、作業；次總釋此得與識俱。別解各有二，初總；次別。總中體、業二種不同，《顯揚論》等文並同此，即出體顯業。

The Commentary states: From here down is the fourth [section], explaining the five factors individually. Within this there are two [parts]: first, explaining individually the intrinsic nature and activity of the five; next, explaining generally how they can accompany consciousness. In the individual explanations there are two parts each: first, general; second, specific. In the general [part], intrinsic nature and activity are two distinct things. The text of the Prakaraṇāryavācā and other [treatises] is identical to this, presenting the intrinsic nature and displaying the activity.
