述曰：謂於別色、別心等果，各自引生方名種子，非善等色種生善等心果可名種子，不相應故。

The Commentary states: This means that it is only by individually inducing distinct fruits of form, distinct fruits of mind, and so forth that they are called seeds; it is not the case that a wholesome seed of form producing a wholesome fruit of mind could be called a seed, because they are discordant.
