述曰：初敘彼計。領所緣境，名境界受；領同時觸，名領自性。觸有苦、樂、捨，受皆能領故。彼師評云：
The Commentary states: First, stating their position. Experiencing the cognitive object is called 'objective sensation'; experiencing simultaneous contact is called 'experiencing intrinsic nature'. Since contact has painful, pleasant, and neutral [forms], sensation can experience all of them. That master, in his definitive judgment, says:
