述曰：唯自性受是受自相，餘心所法不能領觸，無是相故。若境界受通餘心心所，以彼皆能領境界相故。初敘計訖。

The Commentary states: Only the sensation of intrinsic nature is the self-characteristic of sensation, because the other mental factors cannot experience contact, lacking that characteristic. If it were objective sensation, it would be shared with the other cittas and caitasikas, because they can all experience the characteristics of the cognitive object. This concludes the initial recounting of their position.
