述曰：顯此不與苦、樂二受相應所由，如八證中最初執受五因之內，任運生解，如五十一、《對法》第二說。異熟生等，並如前釋，由六識中異熟生受，待緣方起，故今簡之。

The Commentary states: This shows the reason why it is not associated with the two feelings of pain and pleasure, like the explanation of arising spontaneously among the five causes of the first [proof], "appropriation," in the eight proofs, as stated in fascicle fifty-one and the second fascicle of the Abhidharma-samuccaya-bhāṣya. Born of maturation and so on are all explained as before; because the feeling born of maturation in the six consciousnesses arises only dependent on conditions, it is eliminated here.
