述曰：此顯外種非無因緣，從內共相種子生故，如《攝大乘》自廣分別。自下第二解熏習義，於中有三，初總問；次略答；後廣辨。

The Commentary states: This shows that external seeds are not without a cause condition, because they are produced from internal common-mark seeds, as is broadly distinguished in the Mahāyānasaṃgraha itself. Below is the second part, explaining the meaning of perfuming, in which there are three: first, a general question; second, a brief answer; third, an extensive analysis.
