述曰：心所所變似眼根等，不能為依，親生五識。親生五識者，心王所變故；色等亦爾，亦非實礙。此六眼根等，同時同處不相障礙。

The Commentary states: The semblances of the eye faculty and so forth transformed by the caitasikas cannot serve as a support to directly produce the five consciousnesses. Those that directly produce the five consciousnesses are transformed by the cittarāja; color-form and so forth are also like this, and they are also not real physical resistance. These six eye faculties and so forth do not obstruct one another at the same time and in the same place.
