述曰：我宗因果，前因滅位後果即生，中間無隔，因果不斷，如秤兩頭低昂時等，由彼低時此昂時故。

The Commentary states: In the cause and effect of our school, at the stage when the preceding cause ceases, the subsequent effect immediately arises; with no interval between them, cause and effect are continuous, like the simultaneous depression and elevation of the two ends of a scale, due to that [one] going down when this [one] goes up.
