論：有餘部說至恒相續義。

Treatise: There are other schools that say [that the substance of conditioned dharmas, though definitely present, has two temporal positions: arising and ceasing. When arising, it repays its cause; when ceasing, it induces its effect. The prior cause is just ceasing, while the subsequent effect is just arising; their substances and marks, though distinct, are both existent at the same time. Therefore, cause and effect are continuous without interruption, avoiding both faults of annihilationism and eternalism, and establishing the meaning of constant continuity].
