述曰：三、於二法辨。前因正滅，後果正生，此二法辨，相接不斷，因滅果生，二俱現在故。「體相雖殊」，因、果二法故；「而俱是有」，並現在世同時有故。

The Commentary states: Third, analyzing them on two dharmas. The prior cause is just ceasing, while the subsequent effect is just arising; analyzing these two dharmas, they are contiguous without interruption, because the cause ceasing and the effect arising are both present. "Their substances and marks, though distinct": because they are two dharmas, cause and effect. "Are both existent at the same time": because they are simultaneously existent in the present period.
