述曰：此難令同薩婆多等，以滅現在，生未來故。生滅二法定不俱時，相違法故，如明闇等。

The Commentary states: This objection makes them agree with the Sarvāstivādins and others, because cessation being present [would entail] arising being future. The two dharmas of arising and cessation definitely cannot be simultaneous, because they are mutually contrary dharmas, like light and darkness.
