述曰：此第二理。《十地論》第十卷說：「第八地已上菩薩，於無相海任運而轉，諸佛勸等」，乃至廣說。剎那剎那真、俗雙運，以無功用，故任運轉。

The Commentary states: This is the second logical ground. The tenth fascicle of the Daśabhūmika-śāstra says: "Bodhisattvas from the eighth stage onward operate spontaneously in the ocean of signlessness, exhorted by all Buddhas," and so forth extensively. Moment by moment, the ultimate and the conventional operate together; because of effortlessness, they operate spontaneously.
