述曰：上釋不退，下辨捨。捨中有二，初理辨捨，後引證，此初也。煩惱分別少分捨故，捨執藏名，其文易解。

The Commentary states: The above explains non-retrogression; below, abandonment is analyzed. In abandonment there are two parts: first, analyzing abandonment through reason; second, citing scriptural testimony; this is the first. Because they have abandoned a small portion of the discrimination of defilement, they abandon the name of grasping as a storehouse; the text is easy to understand.
