述曰：此言「等」者，如小乘名根本識，如《攝論》第二卷初亦名第八識，亦名為意，及《寶性論》等眾名，如《別抄》說。此通有、無漏及若凡若聖，名一切位，即是相續執持位名。

The Commentary states: As for the word 'these', it includes designations such as the 'root consciousness' (mūlavijñāna) in the Hīnayāna, and also the 'eighth consciousness' or 'manas' at the beginning of the second fascicle of the Mahāyānasaṃgraha, as well as numerous names in the Ratnagotravibhāga and other texts, as explained in the Separate Notes. These apply to both sāsrava and anāsrava, and to ordinary beings as well as noble ones, which is termed 'all stages'; that is to say, they are names for the stage of continuous appropriation and holding.
