述曰：此意顯是引果義故。有漏無記名為異熟。與因異故。從異熟因所生起故。無漏是善非名異熟。非與因異。及異熟因生故。

The Commentary states: The intention here is to show that it has the meaning of an induced result. What is sāsrava and indeterminate (avyākṛta) is called vipāka. It is because it differs from the cause; because it arises from a vipāka-cause. What is anāsrava is wholesome, and is not called vipāka, because it does not differ from the cause, and because it is not born of a vipāka-cause.
