述曰：第三別破中有四：一、徵假實；二、徵何性；三、徵間斷；四、徵類同。初徵有二：一實；二假。此徵實也，吠世史迦同異實故。

The Commentary states: Third, within the specific refutation there are four parts: 1. investigating whether it is conceptual or real; 2. investigating what nature it possesses; 3. investigating interruption; 4. investigating the identity of the category. The first investigation has two parts: 1. real; 2. conceptual. This investigates the real: because the Vaiśeṣika takes generality and particularity (sāmānya-viśeṣa) as real.
