述曰：下破轉救色、心展轉互為種生。無色、無心，後生諸色、諸心無失。轉識、及色非所熏習，先已破故；轉識不受熏，許有間故；色根不受熏，許非心故；並如聲、電，如何可能為諸法種，並如五十一敘計。

The Commentary states: Below, this refutes the shifting salvage that form and mind sequentially serve as mutual seeds to generate each other: that in the formless [realm] and in the mindless [states], the subsequent generation of various forms and minds would be without fault. Evolving consciousness and form are not what is perfumed, because this was already refuted above; evolving consciousness does not receive perfuming, because it is admitted to have interruptions; material sense faculties do not receive perfuming, because they are admitted to be non-mental; both are like sound and lightning, so how could they possibly serve as seeds for all phenomena? All this is as recounted of their positions in the fifty-first [fascicle of the *Yogācārabhūmi*].
