4.256

述曰：敘彼宗計。因能感果，果能赴因，無不皆成，何勞計執別有識體？復言熏習即雙非上諸部及大乘義，次彼會經。

The Commentary states: This recounts their school's doctrine. Causes are able to bring about fruits, and fruits correspond to causes; there is none that is not established, so why labor to hold that there is a separate entity of consciousness? Furthermore, mentioning perfuming doubly negates both the schools mentioned above and the Mahāyāna position. Next, they harmonize the sūtras.
