述曰：其去、來世。非因緣性；以無取果用故；如無為等。去、來既無，無持種識，故於諸部一切因果皆不得成。

The Commentary states: The past and future periods of time are not of the nature of causes and conditions; because they lack the function of grasping a fruit; just like unconditioned phenomena and the like. Since past and future do not exist, and there is no consciousness that upholds seeds, all causes and effects in their various schools cannot be established at all.
