述曰：自下第三歸本識也。於中又三：一、歸本識；二、破他非；三、簡佛位，此即初也。如是所簡餘五蘊法，皆不可立正實趣生。又此業果，明知無為、無漏有為，皆非趣生體，唯異熟心及彼心所，體是實、是恒、是遍、是無雜，是正實趣生。

The Commentary states: From here on, the third [part] reverts to the fundamental consciousness. Within this there are again three: 1. reverting to the fundamental consciousness; 2. refuting other erroneous views; 3. distinguishing the Buddha stage. This is the first. The remaining dharmas of the five aggregates excluded in this manner cannot be established as the primary and real destiny and mode of birth. Furthermore, as this is a karmic fruit, one clearly knows that the unconditioned and the unworldly conditioned are neither of them the entity of a destiny or mode of birth. Only the ripening mind and its mental factors, being real in substance, constant, pervasive, and unmixed, are the primary and real destiny and mode of birth.
