述曰：意識住身可由起觸，不是決定住於身中取觸等故。非無意識身便冷生，第八住身即有煖起，不住身處故冷觸起。

The Commentary states: That mental consciousness abides in the body can be inferred from the arising of touch, not that it determinately abides in the body to grasp touch and so forth. It is not that in the absence of mental consciousness the body becomes cold; where the eighth abides in the body, warmth immediately arises, and where it does not abide in the body, cold touch arises.
