述曰：下總結言。唯第八識真異熟心，由先業力恒不斷，遍相續執於身。捨執受處，冷觸便起，壽、煖、識三不相離故。

The Commentary states: Below is the general conclusion. Only the true fruition mind of the eighth consciousness, by the power of prior karma, is eternally uninterrupted and universally and continuously appropriates the body. Where appropriation is abandoned, cold touch immediately arises, because the three—vitality, warmth, and consciousness—are inseparable.
