述曰：下文有四：一、敘經；二、申難；三、破救；四、立量，即敘經也。彼經自釋，名謂非色四蘊，色謂羯邏藍等，等諸餘位。此羯邏藍名為雜穢，父母不淨名雜，深可厭患名穢。

The Commentary states: Below there are four parts: first, setting forth the sūtra; second, formulating the objection; third, refuting the rejoinder; fourth, establishing the formal inference. This first part sets forth the sūtra. That sūtra itself explains that name refers to the four non-material aggregates, and form refers to the kalala and so forth, where 'and so forth' includes the other stages. This kalala is termed 'mingled defilement': the impurities of father and mother are termed 'mingled', and its profoundly repellant nature is termed 'defilement'.
