述曰：上本宗，下設義雙破二部。彼設救言：在彼上界起無漏時，有情身、命既互相持即互為食。此亦不然，四食不攝彼身、命故。彼身、命定非是食；四食不攝故；如生、住等。

The Commentary states: Above was the original tenet; below is a provisional formulation refuting both schools simultaneously. They might offer the rescue: 'When anāsrava is aroused in those higher realms, since the sentient being's body and life maintain each other, they serve mutually as nutriment.' This is also not so, because the four nutriments do not subsume that body and life. That body and life are definitely not nutriment; because they are not subsumed under the four nutriments; like birth, duration, and so forth.
