述曰：第三總結。雖知識食通諸八識，唯異熟識是勝食性。彼食即是此第八識，此食諸門分別義理。勘諸經論，并《俱舍》等，如六十六廣有諸門。

The Commentary states: The third part is the overall conclusion. Although it is known that the nutriment of consciousness extends to all eight consciousnesses, only the maturing consciousness is the superior nature of nutriment. That nutriment is precisely this eighth consciousness. The doctrinal distinctions of this nutriment across various categories should be examined in the sūtras and treatises along with the Abhidharmakośa and so forth, just as fascicle sixty-six [of the Yogācārabhūmi] sets forth extensive categories.
