述曰：次下第二破一切有。初敘宗，後申難。此初也。謂彼救言：出定後時，彼識還起，名不離身。如隔日瘧雖非現有，說瘧不離身，故識應類然。

The Commentary states: Next below is the second [part], refuting the Sarvāstivāda. First it relates their tenet, and then presents the objection. This is the first. They offer this defense: after emerging from the attainment, that consciousness arises again, so it is called "not departing from the body." Just as tertian malaria, though not presently existing, is said to "not depart from the body," so consciousness should be analogous.
