述曰：第五。既爾定中無異熟識，如死屍等。後出定識必不還生，經中說「識不離身」言，何所屬著？何所因也？

The Commentary states: The fifth [objection]. This being so, during the attainment there is no vipāka consciousness, just like a corpse. The subsequent consciousness upon emerging from the attainment would definitely not arise again; to what would the statement in the sūtra that "consciousness does not depart from the body" refer? What would be its cause?
