述曰：第二比量。此位第六意識應無；六轉識攝故；如五識身。次第三量。

The Commentary states: The second inference. In this state, the sixth mental consciousness should not exist; because it is subsumed under the six evolving consciousnesses; like the collection of the five consciousnesses. Next is the third inference.
