述曰：此第四量。設彼救言此位第六識行相、所緣俱可了知，因隨一者，今破量云：汝滅定位應非是實滅盡定位；許有行相、所緣可知識故；如餘位等。更應返難：汝宗除此，餘時亦應名滅定位；有行相、所緣可知識在故；如汝許滅定。

The Commentary states: This is the fourth inference. Supposing they defend by saying that in this state the mode of activity and cognitive object of the sixth consciousness can both be known, making the reason unestablished for one party (asiddha/anyatarāsiddha), now the refuting inference is: Your state of the attainment of cessation should not be the real state of cessation; because you accept that there is a consciousness whose mode of activity and cognitive object can be known; like other states, etc. Furthermore, one should invert the objection: In your school, other times besides this should also be called the state of cessation; because a consciousness whose mode of activity and cognitive object can be known exists; like your accepted attainment of cessation.
