述曰：謂修靜慮、無色等時，受、想用強獨名心行，增勞慮故。非餘思等說心行滅，何所相違？
The Commentary states: That is to say, when cultivating the dhyānas, formless [attainments], and so forth, the functions of vedanā and saṃjñā are strong, so they alone are called mental activities, because they increase fatigue and anxiety. It is not that other [dharmas] such as cetanā are said to cease when mental activities cease; what contradiction is there?
