述曰：受、想所倚既亡，能倚心應隨滅。所倚強故令心應滅，資助之法強已滅故。自下第四經部師救。

The Commentary states: Since that upon which [citta] relies—vedanā and saṃjñā—has perished, citta, which relies upon them, should cease accordingly. Because that upon which it relies is strong, citta should be made to cease, for the supporting dharmas were strong and have already ceased. From here below, the fourth, the Sautrāntika master rescues [his position].
