述曰：汝之此位受、想滅時心應隨滅；許大地法滅故；如思等滅心定隨滅。無心睡眠等位心隨思滅故。既爾受、想滅心定隨滅，如何可說彼受、想滅而心猶在？彼者，彼受、想也。

The Commentary states: In this state of yours, when vedanā and saṃjñā cease, citta should cease accordingly; because it is admitted that mahābhūmika-dharmas cease; just as when cetanā and the rest cease, citta definitely ceases accordingly. In states like mindless sleep, citta ceases along with cetanā. Since this is so, when vedanā and saṃjñā cease, citta definitely ceases accordingly; how can it be said that those—vedanā and saṃjñā—cease while citta still remains? "Those" refers to those: vedanā and saṃjñā.
